It’s normal to drive in a loop when on tour, but we have decided that you would probably enjoy the drive home more if we re-visited the highlights of the main section of the Ocean Road. It also increases the probability of seeing it at its best, with the sunshine reflecting off the azure southern ocean. Consequently, after breakfast we head south to rejoin the ocean road and drive it in the opposite direction. It also gives us an opportunity to stop at our favourite spots for some more photos.
Lunch will be on the road, at a destination of your choice. We are heading to Lorne for our last night on the road.
We will stay overnight at Erskine House; an old favourite, which offers true beach side accommodation and we can have a long walk to the pier, a pre-dinner drink or a look at the shops and boutiques. There are many convenient restaurant choices with a pleasant walk back to our rooms for a nightcap, and an opportunity to digest what we have seen.
